Adjournment of Patent, Trademark and Design Hearing Due to Covid -19

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Office of the Controller General Patents, Design and Trademark has re-scheduled the hearings and the submissions dates and has also directed the following:

Persons hearing in Patent and Designs matters scheduled on or before 15.04.2020 by the controller should be changed to Video conferencing hearing. If the applicant not agreeing for video conferencing hearing, the controller will adjourn to date later than 15.04.2020.
The hearing in respect to the designs having application numbers (shared in the official link) which were listed on 27.03.2020 has been listed/rescheduled to 22.04.2020.
All hearings relating to trademarks matters scheduled between 17/03/2020 to 15/04/2020 have been adjourned and these cases will be rescheduled in due course of time, the application numbers have been shared via official links.

Pls Note:

In reference to the above (1) point, the hearings after 15.04.2020 remain the same.
The transmitting or re-submitting the documents to the patent office be extended for a period not later than one month from the cessation of the COVID-19 outbreak.
